Mix + Match with Uniqlo

Uniqlo Rayon Skipper Collar 3/4 Sleeve Blouse in Olive, Uniqlo Slim Fit Ankle Length Boyfriend Jean in 65 Blue,

So, it’s the end of February, the sun is out for the first time in *months*, and this is how you’ll find me celebrating the rest of summer.

There is no other thing to wear in LA than denim. Most formal restaurants, most places of employment, no matter what, we’re wearing jeans. My thighs are thankful that the skinny jean trend is all but dead, that’s for sure, and there’s one silhouette I’ve loved more than anything for the past two summers:

Boyfriend fit.

Listen: there’s nothing worse in the 115* LA heatwave days than wearing tight denim. You’re going to roast to death during the walk between your car and the movie theater. It’s just a given. And as someone who grew up on the East coast knows– holy heck are full-length pants your enemy on humid days. These slouchy, sexy boyfriend jeans from Uniqlo will take you from the first 70* day in April to the last Labor Day bbq of the summer.

And Uniqlo’s jeans are some of the highest quality you can find– at super affordable prices. They source high-end fabrics and work with super pricey design teams to get you on-trend denim at way more affordable prices.

Uniqlo: also has like the world’s greatest casual-but-not-sloppy work to weekend tops. I nabbed a few of their 3/4 sleeve tops (that I can also wear with shorts, as is my usual summertime outfit), as well as some layering tanks that work great under it’s-still-technically-winter cardigans. Best yet, they’re rayon, so you can toss them in a weekender and take them with you on spur-of-the-moment summer trips without worrying too much about wrinkles.

Who’s ready for summer?
