The Pink Lady Cocktail

No, the other kind.

The Pink Lady Cocktail is a sweet, tangy and tart cocktail that is absolutely perfect for Mother’s Day.  Not too syrupy, the Pink Lady is a sophisticated but playful, old-school cocktail that can easily be sipped at brunch or before a great dinner.

Now, unlike with my pisco sour, I manned up and made this with the requisite egg white.  If it’s good enough, presumably, for Rizzo, I can do it too.

  4. the egg white was a big hurdle for me. happily, i have a strong enough immune system. i was going to say pregnant ladies should probably skip the egg, but pregnant ladies probably should skip the gin, too. duh.

  5. i usually use skim milk instead of heavy cream, but for once i had it in the house. makes ALL the difference! i hope they’re still called recipes, because cocktails are the only recipes i make really well!
