The Toasted Almond Cocktail is one of my absolute favorite cocktails. But before I tell you how to make it, I have to tell you something I learned at work:
Amaretto (you know, one of my favorite liqueurs of all time, as it is sweet, sweet holy lifeblood to young women who hate boozy cocktails) emulates the flavor of almonds, but is often made from apricot pits.
This inspired me to whip up one of my absolute, all-time, sweet-cuppin-cakes favorite cocktails, The Toasted Almond.
Toasted Almond Cocktail Recipe
- 1oz milk
- 1oz Kahlua
- 1oz Amaretto
Stirred over ice.
Not shaken. Stirred.
Preferably with a neat-o vintage TWA stir stick from my Grandpa’s collection.
